Dancing with the Stars finally had its first "perfect" dance of the season! Maria Menounos and Derek Hough stumbled through their foxtrot last week, but they were on fire last night with a paso doble that scored the much-coveted trio of 10s from the judges.
"Maria, the queen of the damned was the queen of the night," gushed Bruno Tonioli of the couple's vampire-themed dance.
Menounos and Hough may have managed perfection, but close behind were three consistently solid couples who scored 27s on classical night.
Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas earned their 27 for a rumba head judge Len Goodman called "a classic."
William Levy and Cheryl Burke also received a 27 for a waltz Carrie Ann Inaba complimented as "true dancing," while Donald Driver and his partner Peta Murgatroyd delivered another solid performance with a smooth, 27-point waltz that Goodman gushed was "terrific."
Despite their season-best dance on Motown week, Jaleel White and Kym Johnson had a more characteristic week with a 24-scoring waltz, while Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower finished slightly better with a 25 for their tango.
Melissa Gilbert and partner Maks Chmerkovskiy finished in last place this week. After recovering from her head injury, the troubled pair had to deal with Maks' ankle cyst, which left their tango less than impressive with a bottom of the lot 21.
