Another Tuesday night, another couple booted from the ballroom. Of course it's never quite that simple on the Dancing with the Stars results show. There is always more to pack in to stretch the results show to what sometimes feels like a very bloated hour. To kick things off, Joey Fatone and partner Kym Johnson were picked to perform an encore of their Return of the Jedi tango. Although it was a cute idea, I still wasn't sold so much on the dancing. It was definitely special guest overload and Ciara was on hand to sing her latest hit "Like a Boy" ... alongside dancers writhing around on the floor in Oxford shirts. The next entertainment interlude was a group paso doble to "Eye of the Tiger" performed by none other than Survivor. That would be the band, not the reality show. At this point, it just seemed like they were trotting acts out by the truckload and I really wonder why the show can't just be kept to a half hour. But then we wouldn't have time for Josh Grobin singing along with more dramatic dance floor accompaniment. They finally got around to announcing the bottom two couples: Leeza & Tony and Shandi & Brian. Leeza will be back with her tramp another week, as it was Shandi and Brian's fate to be the 2nd couple voted off the show. Next week the dancers take on the paso doble or the waltz, so it should be another interesting week.
