Welcome back -- after this week's performances, 73% of you felt like Clyde needed to glide on out of the ballroom. Did everyone else out there agree? Of course this week's encore performance was a redux of Apolo and Julianne's samba. After last night's perfect score, who else could it have been? This was soon followed by a freewheeling professional group swing dance to "Zoot Suit Riot". You never really know what they're going to pull out on this show ... as evidenced by the next segment.
Just when you thought it was safe to watch Dancing with the Stars ... Lisa Rinna comes clawing back out. This time she has somehow slithered her way into a new production of Chicago as Roxie Hart, so of course we have to preview her performance in the ballroom. I'm sure that there have to be some Lisa Rinna fans out there somewhere, but unfortunately I'm not one of them. For me, the performance was a little bit too karaoke. What did you think? Will Lisa Rinna ever relinquish her death grip on this show? Macy Gray was also in the house to sing "Finally Made Me Happy" from her new album "Big". In contrast to my feelings for Lisa Rinna, I actually like Macy Gray, but I always feel a little embarrassed on her behalf to see her consistently appearing to be half-drugged in public.
After seeing some behind the scenes footage of the show's makeup artists (Billy Ray does wear eyeliner), a Jimmy Kimmel/Guillermo/Joey Fatone love triangle and as always, a lot of forced suspense, we found out that Clyde & Elena and Heather & Jonathan were the two couples with the least amount of votes. In the end, the TV Cocktail readers were spot on and Clyde & Elena were indeed the next to leave the show. What did you think about this week's results?
