'Dancing with the Stars' Semi-Finals: Who Deserves to Make the Finals?

With only five couples left on Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars, it was another fiercely competitive week, as the contenders prepare for yet another week of double eliminations after this week's semi-finals.

Every couple performed twice on Monday night -- one to an oddball theme and the other to a Michael Jackson song --  and three DWTS pairs were able to pull out at least one perfect score, starting with the first round's "30" awarded to Olympic champion Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough, who climbed their way out of last week's uncharacteristic second-to-last spot on the leaderboard to their more usual high-ranking performances.

Shawn and Derek's Knight Rider Bhangra (an Indian folkloric dance), may have had a bizarre theme, but their energetic Bollywood-style performance earned them three 10s, or as judge Bruno Tonioli said, "Tehhhhhhhhhn!" Their second dance, a tango to "Bad," earned an impressive 29, putting them at the top of the night.

Continuing their quest for the mirrorball, Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani, earned a 27.5 for their first-round performance (a "Caveman Hustle") and a 30 for their sexy Argentine tango to "Dirty Diana":  "'Dirty Diana,' I would like to introduce you to 'Magnificent Melissa'!" raved Carrie Ann after her Argentine tango.

Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff didn't get off to the best start with their first dance, a "Big Top Jazz" number, but after a solid 27, they rocked the ballroom with a sensual rumba to "Man in the Mirror." "You don't have to over-dance to achieve perfection" Carrie-Ann said before they were awarded a 30.

Cheryl Burke and Emmitt Smith were a bit off their game, getting two 27s to share the bottom spot with Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy.

But it doesn't just matter what the judges thought, tonight any two of the five couples could have to exit the ballroom!

Tonight, another two couples will have to go home in anticipation of next week's finale!

Here's how the leader board stacked up for the night:

Shawn Johnson & Derek Hough: 59 (30, 29)
Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani: 57.5 (27.5, 30)
Apolo Anton Ohno & Karina Smirnoff: 57 (27, 30)
Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke: 54 (27, 27)
Kelly Monaco & Val Chmerkovskiy: 54 (25.5, 28.5)
