Rumors continue to swirl about which celebs will be lacing up their dancing shoes and hitting the floor for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. And the latest name thrown into the ring is George Clooney's ex-girlfriend, Italian model Elisabetta Canalis.
Looks like Canalis (who split from America's most eligible bachelor in June) may be beating the breakup blues by perfecting her two-step. Though ABC has yet to confirm, sources tell E! Online that the 32-year-old beauty is definitely on board. Perhaps the fact that Clooney is allegedly dating former DWTS contestant Stacy Keibler have something to do with her decision?
Cavallari, 24, just recently suffered a tough breakup from Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, who reportedly blindsided the starlet when he abruptly called off their engagement. Perhaps a stint on season 13 of DWTS is just what she needs to get her groove back.
But while the former star of The Hills may be in the competition, another MTV favorite is definitely out. Jersey Shore's pickle-loving party girl, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, shot down talk that she'll be joining the cast.
"I love watching Dancing with the Stars but I am not apart of the cast!" Snooks twittered Tuesday. "Sorry Tweedos."
Other names still being tossed around for the dancing competition's next season are Rob Kardashian, Tiffani Thiessen and Queen Latifah.
Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars premieres on Sept. 19 at 8 p.m.
