Daniel Radcliffe, Adele Are 'EW' Entertainers of the Year

The Harry Potter star and "Rolling in the Deep" singer top Entertainment Weekly's annual list

Anyone who's kept the smallest eye on pop culture over the past year should not be surprised that Entertainment Weekly has named Daniel Radcliffe their entertainer of the year.

From concluding the Harry Potter franchise on an extremely high note to headlining his first Broadway musical (How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying) to switching gears and starring in an adult horror film (The Woman in Black), Radcliffe has certainly worked hard to keep us entertained.

But Radcliffe isn't the only entertainer to earn kudos from EW. Bestselling singer Adele, man-of-many-talents Hugh Jackman and the hilarious cast of the breakout summer hit Bridesmaids also made the list, which will be revealed in its entirety when the issue hits newsstands Dec. 9.

The staff over at EW also asked some of their favorite celebs to offer up their picks for the year's standout entertainers. Our favorite comes from Sandra Bullock, who really enjoyed The Book of Mormon, the new Broadway musical from South Park creators Matt Parker and Trey Stone.

"I went and saw The Book of Mormon on Broadway, and was so offended I peed my pants twice," Bullock writes. "Maybe three times. I lost count I was so offended."

In addition, Julia Roberts confesses her obsession with Adele, Meryl Streep raves about Viola Davis, and Amy Poehler makes us love her even more by admitting she's a Game of Thrones fan and loves author George R.R. Martin.

"(He) is such a great writer that it makes people angry," says the Parks and Recreation star. "Tyrion the Imp has some of the best one-liners I have ever read from someone about to die. Did I mention a lot of people die?"
