Date Night: 6 Ways to Make It a Night to Remember

Does your love life need a bit of heating up? It's the perfect time to think about planning a romantic dinner for two. Sounds heavenly, you think, but how -- with little ones constantly in arms, and a hectic schedule, you can barely fit in any time for conversation, let alone romance. Well then, it's high time to make romance a priority.

Begin right now by arranging your first date. Post your date on your calendar and stick to it. This is your special time.

Once you've picked a date, think about how you can arrange a window of private time for you and your partner. If your children are older, perhaps you can arrange for your kids to sleep over at a friend or relative's house -- and then return the favor. If you still have babies in the house and you feel best staying close by, don't despair. Even your youngest baby probably has a period where he generally sleeps for two or three hours -- even if that means "dinner" is enjoyed together on a weekend afternoon.

1. Plan your date. Will you be sharing an evening dinner or afternoon picnic, while the little ones are napping? A daytime adventure has the advantage in that you will both surely be wide awake!

2. Create the mood. It isn't necessary to confine your dinner to the kitchen or dining room. Maybe you'd like to set up a cozy little table by the fire, or in the privacy of your bedroom, surrounded by flickering candles.

3. Dress for dinner. You both might want to choose something that looks great on you, is comfortable, and makes you feel very sexy.
