Dave Matthews Band Member Dies
It's a sad day for Dave Matthews Band fans everywhere (M&M!), as they have lost one of their own.
DMB saxophone player LeRoi Moore (far l.), died Tuesday afternoon at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles. The 46-year-old musician, who was one of the band's founding members, suffered from complications due to injuries he sustained after crashing his ATV in June.
The band played on last night at the Staples center in Los Angeles, and after opening the show with "Bartender," Dave told the audience that "our good friend LeRoi Moore" had passed away.
"He gave up his ghost to heaven and we will miss him always," the singer said.
