Dave Matthews is the latest A-list musician to join the lineup for the 43rd Annual CMA Awards.

The lead singer of the Dave Matthews Band will join country singer Kenny Chesney and the two will perform, "I’m Alive," off Chesney’s album, Lucky Old Sun.

They join the growing list of performers, which includes Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Billy Currington, Vince Gill and Daughtry, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band.

Paisley and Underwood are hosting "Country Music’s Biggest Night" on Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Even if country music is not your cup of tea, you can’t say the list of performers is not impressive. The idea of having rock stars (Daughtry, Dave Matthews) pair up and perform with country legends (Vince Gill, Kenny Chesney) is a great idea to bring in the casual music fan that might not normally watch the CMA Awards.

Plus, who doesn’t want to tune in to see Taylor Swift perform after her stellar subway performance on the MTV Video Music Awards?

Luckily she won’t have to worry about Tim McGraw jumping on stage and saying Carrie Underwood had one of the best videos of all time if she wins for Female Vocalist of the Year.
