In September, David Beckham got a tattoo to celebrate his tenth anniversary with wife Victoria -- and now, he's being accused of showing that tattoo to another woman. A new story in In Touch magazine claims that soccer star Beckham, 35, had an ongoing affair with a high-class callgirl. But Becks says the article is a lie -- and he's willing to challenge it in a court of law.
The alleged "other woman" is Irma Nici, a 26-year-old ex-prostitute who says she saw Beckham five times, to the tune of $10,000 a night. The athlete, however, claims he's never even met Nici.
"The allegations that have been made are completely untrue and totally ridiculous as the magazine was clearly told before publication," Beckham told E! News. "Sadly, we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it. We are taking legal action against the magazine."
In Touch has issued a statement saying they "have confidence in the credibility" of their sources, but the UK Daily Mail has pointed out a few minor inaccuracies in Nici's story -- like the wrong hotel name. The paper also notes that Nici launched her own website yesterday, calling herself the "world's most sought after call girl" and charging for steamy pictures. Coincidence?
Posh and Becks aren't the only longtime couple being hounded by infidelity rumors right now. Ashton Kutcher has been accused of cheating on wife of five years Demi Moore with 21-year-old Brittney Jones. Like Beckham, Kutcher has threatened legal action against the magazine that printed the story. If the men really have been faithful, we recommend they take the same tactic as Brad and Angelina: Sue the magazine, then donate the money to charity!
