As one of the most famous athletes on the planet, David Beckham has a pretty packed schedule -- but he still makes time for his fans.
Don't believe us? Just check out his new Adidas ad (you can watch below), in which fans come together for what they think is a photo shoot to support Great Britain's soccer team in the Olympics.
What they get instead is a surprise visit from Becks himself, hugging them and posing for pictures. Cue the waterworks!
Although 37-year-old Beckham didn't make it to Britain's Olympic soccer team, he's still been doing everything in his power to support his fellow players. In fact, he recently revealed that he will have a small part in the Olympics opening ceremony July 27, even if he won't actually be competing this year.
"It is some kind of role in the opening ceremony which I am honored to be involved in because obviously I was involved in the start process with this seven years ago," Beckham tells the Associated Press. "And for [Sebastian Coe] to have kept me involved, I'm very proud of that."
Beckham has some obligations to the Major League Soccer back in the U.S. that will prevent him from staying in London for the duration of the Olympics, but he plans to attend "a few events." He also hasn't given up hope of representing his home country again (perhaps in 2016 in Rio di Janeiro?) with his soccer skills.
"I'll always have ambitions in football as long as I am playing," Beckham says. "I might be 37 years old, but I still want to continue to win championships, I still want to continue to be the best that I can be and continue to represent my country in any way, shape or form."
