More Idol news this morning, as last year's winner, David Cook, has canceled two of his upcoming tour dates "to deal with personal family matters."
David didn't elaborate on the reasons he backed out of college campus shows Monday and Tuesday in New Hampshire and Connecticut, but fans of American Idol know that the singer is very close to his brother Adam, who is currently battling brain cancer.
He does have plans to be back on the road Thursday.
"David would like everyone to rest assured that we are working with the universities to reschedule the shows that are missed," his website said.
