Late-night talk show host David Letterman prefers to be the one asking the questions. But he's agreed to sit down with the women of The View and be on the other side of the interview. According to RadarOnline.com, Letterman, 63, will make his first-ever appearance on the daytime talk show during the season premiere.
We're guessing the gals on the Emmy-winning gabfest (including Barbara Walters who will be making her return to the show since recovering from her open-heart surgery) will tackle a variety of topics from his troubling affair/blackmail scandal to the seemingly never-ending late night wars.
It seems The Late Show host, who addressed the public and his wife Regina Lasko after the shocking news of his infidelities broke, is opening up a little more this year. In April, the funnyman stopped by Live with Regis & Kelly where he talked rather candidly about his home life and, of course, joked about rival Jay Leno.
When it comes to Letterman, and the ladies of The View, it's always best to expect the unexpected. We can't wait!
The season premiere of The View airs Tuesday, Sept. 7 on ABC. Check local listings for times.
