Pregnancy & Parenting's
Dealing with Bullies on the Ten- to Fourteen-Year-Olds Message Board

For better or worse, dealing with a bully or a mean group of kids is often a rite of passage for older kids. It can be heartbreaking as a parent to watch as your child deals with this type of situation -- do you intervene? Should you let them change schools? What is the best thing to do? As with so many issues related to parenting, there are no clear-cut answers.

If your child is the victim of a bully or you are concerned she may be turning into an aggressor, get help from other moms with similar concerns on our message boards.

If you've never participated in message board before, you'll be surprised by how easy it is to get answers to your questions from experienced moms. You don't need to be an iVillage member to read messages, but if you want to post, just click on the "join now" link at the very top right hand corner of the message board page. Membership is free and it just takes a few minutes to sign up.
