Is Dean McDermott Cheating on Tori Spelling?

Us Weekly reports the reality star had an affair with a woman in Canada while promoting his new show

Is Tori Spelling's happy family in crisis? Us Weekly is reporting that Dean McDermott cheated on his wife of seven years.

According to the magazine, the scandal occurred three weeks ago, while McDermott, 40, was promoting Chopped Canada (apparently he's the host?) in Toronto. During his visit, Tori's husband was introduced by friends to a 28-year-old woman named Emily Goodhand. In her interview with Us, Goodhand said that she and McDermott were drinking with a group of friends when he slipped her the key to his hotel room. You can guess what happened from there.

"He said, 'I love my wife. I love her so much, but she just won't sleep with me,'" Goodhand told the magazine. "I didn't ask why because it was awkward."

Hmm, maybe it's because she has four children with him, all between the ages of 2 and 6? Way to be a supportive husband and father, Dean.

If Goodhand thought that encounter was awkward, the next night was even worse: she returned to the hotel, and claims that McDermott tried to show her the sex tape he made with Tori. Worst seduction technique ever. The Canadian woman says she didn't sleep with McDermott again, and she's very sorry that she did in the first place.

"I'm an adult and I make my own decisions. I'm sorry. I f**ked up," Goodhand told the magazine.

Spelling and McDermott haven't commented on the allegations, though it's worth noting that their relationship was born of cheating. In 2005, Dean met Tori on the set of a Lifetime movie. After three weeks, he left his wife, 7-year-old son and 3-week-old daughter to be with Spelling, telling her that he and Tori were "soul mates." Spelling was also married at the time.

For now, Tori is still painting a picture of domestic bliss, posting new Christmas photos of her children on her official blog. For their sake, we hope rumors of McDermott's affair are wildly exaggerated. But if they're fudging the truth? Well, wouldn't be the first time. Then again, the tabloids have been known to stretch the truth, too.
