Why We Need This Group
First, you won't feel so miserably alone with your problem.
Second, talking in a group will help you get over the shame you feel, so you can get moving with your new, debt-free life.
Finally, you'll get a deeper sense of who you are with money, where your ideas and fears got their start and that will help you come to grips in a lasting way.
Too many of us deal with our credit card problems the way we deal with weight: we diet. That is, we restrict ourselves to get the balance down and then, feeling deprived, we go on another binge. We want to get past that in our lives. We want to get off the roller coaster, beyond feelings of deprivation and onto lasting forms of gratification.
