When teens getting into physical fights, it's usually when parents and teachers aren't watching, but when April Newcomb's teenage daughter threw punches at another girl, Mom had gathered along with 20 or 30 other bystanders. Newcomb, of Palmetto, Florida, was heard saying during the fight, "Don't stop. Punch her in the [expletive] body." After getting arrested for child abuse, Newcomb defended herself by explaining that she attended the (obviously, planned) fight because her daughter had been previously injured by another kid and that she didn't want a repeat. Um, so how was encouraging the girl to kick butt keeping her from getting hurt? Um, we don't know either. Newcomb was later released on bail.
