chime in nowBeing pregnant during the winter means you've got a unique fashion challenge to confront: Do you splurge on a winter maternity coat? Or can you get away without one? (If only borrowing a fashionable, warm maternity coat from a friend was an option for everyone!)
Of course, it depends on where you live, how big you are when the mercury dips, and how low it goes (use common sense!). But here's our measure: If you've got four weeks or less to go when you get too big to zip up your regular winter coat, skip it. Instead, bundle up in layers and cozy sweaters and make do with what you've got. If that's not cutting it -- borrow your husband's down puffer. If your due date is more than a month away when you cant zip up your regular jacket and there's more than a month of winter left, then go shopping! (Find gorgeous options here.)
