chime in nowEach year, Pantone, a leading color authority, announces its pick for color of the year. For 2011 Pantone chose a festive shade of pink, Honeysuckle 18-2120. While it is a gorgeous color, we felt a little disappointed: Pink? Who wants to decorate with pink? But then we reconsidered. Every color deserves a chance, right?
To explore the possibilities of pink, iVillage rounded up a group of rooms that use hues similar to Pantone’s Honeysuckle. The spaces we discovered range from home offices to elegant dining rooms, and vary greatly in style, size and location—proving that blushing hues work in many different environs. So, imagine your space through rose-colored glasses and get decorating!
