After a rough couple of months, Demi Moore has emerged with a new spring in her step -- and a new man by her side. Eight months after announcing her separation from Ashton Kutcher, the actress is reportedly dating New Zealand-born actor Martin Henderson.
According to Life & Style -- which has obtained photos of the duo hanging out together -- Moore, 49, and Henderson, 37, spent last week vacationing together in Connecticut. It sounds pretty couple-y: They went grocery shopping, ate dinner with friends and enjoyed a two-hour hike at Steep Rock Preserve.
Seems like Moore is enjoying herself, too. While waiting in line for lunch at a New Preston deli, Demi "started singing along and dancing" to a Colbie Caillat song "in a playful, flirty way," according to a witness. A fellow guest at a barbeque the pair attended said that Demi and Martin "were very comfortable with each other." Another described the actress as "chatty, healthy and happy."
Hopefully, Moore's romantic getaway indicates that things are getting better for the troubled star. Earlier this month, RadarOnline claimed that her children Rumer, Scout and Tallulah were no longer speaking to her.
"Since breaking up with Ashton, Demi has been a mess," said the website's source. "The girls were there for her through it all -- the split and the rehab but now they just feel like they need a little distance."
Maybe the distance has been good for everybody?
Demi's new younger man is recognizable as the star of the ABC series Off the Map (cancelled in 2011 after one season). Earlier, he starred opposite Naomi Watts in The Ring and appeared in Britney Spears's "Toxic" video. And if you're curious what he looks like with his shirt off -- well, there's a YouTube video for that. (See below.)
