The actress stepped out Tuesday night -- looking lovely and healthy in a black vest and matching trousers -- to support one of her best friends, Amanda de Cadenet. The 49-year-old Margin Call actress attended a private party at a Beverly Hills residence to celebrate de Cadenet's new television series, The Conversation, which Moore executive produces for Lifetime. The show features Cadenet conducting a series of interviews with extraordinary women, such as Kelly Preston, Jane Fonda, Gwyneth Paltrow and others.
"I'd been doing these interviews for about a year and Demi is one of my best girlfriends and a great sounding board for me," Amanda told E!. "She's got 10 years on me, and so she is more ahead of me in the game of being a woman. She is an amazing resource for me, and so she has a vast life experience that I love to experience and to hear."
Demi may have been busy walking the red carpet with her pal on Tuesday night, but she also found time to log back on to Twitter -- and she had some pretty big news to share.
"Time for a change, twitter name change," wrote Moore, whose current Twitter handle is still @MrsKutcher. "Any suggestions?"
And British journalist Piers Morgan was quick to chime in. "How about mrsmorgan?" he joked. But Moore quickly shot him down: "I think that one is taken!"
If you have a better idea, Demi is dying to hear them!
