Home at last! Demi Moore is back in Los Angeles and has been spotted in public for the first time since her highly publicized medical emergency in late January. TMZ has photos of the 49-year-old actress exiting a private jet at an L.A. area airport Sunday night.
According to the site, Moore had been vacationing on the Bahamian islands of Turks and Caicos following a stint at Utah's Cirque Lodge rehab facility. An unidentified woman was on the tarmac to greet the actress with what TMZ calls a "big ol' bear hug."
Moore was rushed to the hospital on Jan. 23 after collapsing during a get-together at her L.A. home. In the tape of the 911 call made by an unidentified friend that night, the caller told the emergency dispatcher that Demi had "smoked something" and was having "convulsions of some sort." The caller also admitted that she wasn't sure if Moore was on anything else because "she's been having some issues lately with some other stuff."
On Jan. 24, Moore's rep issued a statement saying that "because of the stresses in her life" -- including, we assume, her split from husband Ashton Kutcher -- the Margin Call actress had "chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health."
Demi looked tan and healthy arriving back in L.A. on Sunday -- hopefully the time in rehab and the Bahamas served her well and we'll soon be seeing more of Moore.
