Poor Demi Moore. As if dealing with the fallout from her pending divorce from Ashton Kutcher and shooting down rumors about her dating life weren't enough, the 49-year-old actress is now defending herself from fans calling for her to change her Twitter handle from @mrskutcher.
Moore took to Twitter early Wednesday morning to address those critics.
"Changing my twitter name isn't a top priority right now," she wrote. "sorry it bothers so many of u. should I not tweet until I do?does it really matter?"
Moore's Twitter activity slowed down big-time starting around November 11 -- she's only posted six items since, including the tweet above. But that makes perfect sense to us: Given the recent upheaval in her personal life, the lady deserves some time to focus on her own needs -- and not those of her Twitter followers.
If Demi does ultimately want to change her Twitter name, however, fans have a few suggestions. Us Weekly held an online survey regarding the matter, and 60 percent of voters agreed that Moore should go with the new Twitter handle "JustDemi." Another 30 percent liked "MsMoore," 7 percent voted "SoOverAshton" and the last 3 percent wanted "GhostGirl."
