Ashton Kutcher has obviously moved on from his failed marriage and is now happily in love with Mila Kunis. On the other hand, his ex-wife Demi Moore has seemingly had one of the worst years of her life.
According to People's new cover story, the actress may not be fully recovered from the tailspin that led to her hospitalization last January. As Moore's 50th birthday approaches on Nov. 11, friends are still concerned that she is not as okay as she'd like people to think.
A source tells People: "Her friends aren't convinced she's all better." Complicating matters for the mother of three is the fact that Kutcher, 34, hasn't been so secretive about his new romance with his former That '70s Show costar. Barely a week goes by without the cozy duo spotted traveling together in Bali or wearing matching T-shirts in New York City.
One source close to Moore tells People that she is "jealous and frustrated" by the romance. While another article in Us Weekly claimed that "she's not psyched" about Ashton dating Mila. "It's hurtful that he's with someone he knew the whole time he was with her," the source added.
But it's not just Kutcher's post-split dalliance with Kunis that's upsetting Moore; she's reportedly still reeling from the public outing of his years of infidelity.
"What was humiliating was having her husband cheat on her in such a public way," the People insider says. "But once that happened, she has not looked back."
On the bright side, one source did express confidence in Moore getting through this difficult year and getting back to a happy place.
"As hard as it has been, despite the depression of going through a divorce, she came through it."
