The 911 call that was made on Monday night before Demi Moore was rushed to an L.A. hospital was released today, revealing that the 49-year-old had "smoked something." This new information will likely dispel the previous rumor that Moore collapsed after having seizure-like symptoms from inhaling a dangerous amount of nitrous oxide.

According to the almost seven-minute audiotape obtained by UsWeekly, an unidentified woman phoned in the emergency on Jan. 23, and stated that Moore -- whom she described as "semi-conscious, barely" -- was having "convulsions of some sort." She also admitted that Moore had smoked "not marijuana, but (something) similar to it. It's similar to incense."

UsWeekly is reporting that one potential guess for what Moore had that night was synthetic cannabis, known as K2 or Spice. The site described it as a "blend of herbs, spices and a synthetic compound similar to THC, the psychoactive ingredients in marijuana."

When asked by the dispatcher if Moore had used this substance in the past, a second caller revealed, "There's been some stuff recently that we're all just finding out (about)." She also mentioned that this reaction was "accidental" and not intentional, which should shoot down any allegations that Moore was trying to commit suicide.

That caller also added, "She's shaking, convulsing, burning up," and admitted that she wasn't sure if Moore was taking anything else because, "she's been having some issues lately with some other stuff," clearly referring to her recent split with husband Ashton Kutcher.

At one point, that caller is overheard saying, "Demi, can you hear me?" She then reported back to the dispatcher, "Yes, she's squeezing my hand. She can't speak. She's convulsing so we're holding her down."

By the end of the chilling call, a man reported that Demi was "Much calmer...now she's breathing fine. She's leaning up and talking quietly." He also called out to somebody named "Ru," which could possibly refer to Rumer, Moore's 23-year-old daughter, whom she has been spotted partying with lately.

A rescue crew rushed Moore to the hospital 10 minutes after the call was made. Demi has since checked herself into rehab for what her rep calls "exhaustion" and to "improve her overall health," and even dropped out from her current project, the upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic Lovelace.

We're hoping that this downward spiral in Moore's health and actions have been halted thanks to this frightening night. Hopefully some professional help will allow her to get back on her feet again.
