Law & Order star Dennis Farina passed away on July 22 from a reported blood clot in his lung, TMZ reports. He was 69. The actor is survived by his 3 adult children from his first marriage, two granddaughters and four grandsons. Dennis' rep says the actor is also survived by "the love of his life of 35 years, Marianne Cahill," whom he never married. Dennis' most famous role was as Detective Joe Fontana on Law and Order. Most recently, he starred in HBO's Luck which premiered last year. Dennis' served as a Chicago police officer for 18 years before becoming an actor.
