Is Friday Night Lights star Minka Kelly becoming Mrs. Derek Jeter this year? Yes, says the New York Post.
According to a source, Jeter and Kelly, who have never even confirmed their engagement, are reportedly preparing for a November wedding. The venue is said to be Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York, where musician heartthrob Kevin Jonas recently said "I do."
But will the groom have time to participate in wedding planning? Maybe not: Nov. 5, the rumored wedding date, is just two days after Game 7 of 2010's World Series.
Reps for Jeter, 35, and Kelly, 29, haven't commented on the lovebirds' future, and numerous media outlets have dismissed the story, claiming there is no way the Yankees shortstop would schedule his wedding so close to baseball's Fall Classic. But it's clear the beautiful pair seem to be a solid couple. The actress was seen at numerous Yankees games last season and even rode with her man down New York's "Canyon of Heroes" during the team's World Series victory parade in November 2009.
