Desperate Housewives has once again achieved first-season status in my book. Last night was all about hidden agendas -- some more obvious than others. Check out the recap: Gaby and Carlos Can I just say how much I love Gaby and Carlos? Those two crazy kids crack me up! In last night's episode, Gaby sees Carlos lock a large manilla envelope in his desk drawer, after completely conceding to every divorce request she has. Gaby, knowing Carlos is up to something, steals the key to the desk and faxes the contents of the evelope to her lawyer. When she realizes the papers are a job contract for $2 million, she starts to rethink her whole divorce decision -- at least until she can legally claim half of that money. I find it hard to believe Gaby really didn't see this trick coming. I mean, come on, she slept with one of Carlos's mortal enemies last week, of course he's going to get back at her! Anway, she decides to win Carlos over with some sexy lingerie and a night of passion. The next morning, when Gaby suggests they just "put the divorce behind them," Carlos busts out laughing. He tells her the job offer was bogus and that he sent the papers to himself. He knew she'd see the money and come crawling back and just wanted to see her face when she realized there was no money. For as much as these two hate one another, I love them together. I can't really imagine anyone else being able to put up with either one of them.
