'Dexter' Star Michael C. Hall 'Fully Recovered' from Cancer

Good news! Michael C. Hall, the Golden Globe-winning star of Dexter, has made a full recovery from his battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor's wife and Dexter costar, Jennifer Carpenter, said that Hall, 39, was "incredibly brave" and has since "fully recovered."

Hall announced in January that he would be undergoing treatments to combat the cancer.

Last month, Dexter executive producer Sara Colleton told Entertainment Weekly that Hall was doing well and the show would be back on course. "Michael’s in full remission," she said. "He’s in great shape and is getting his energy back. We are all very excited to get back to work. The guy is incredibly courageous and worked hard all through last season despite being sick. He’s an amazing human being and actor."

"It was scary, but the show will go on," she continued. "We start shooting in late April or May, which is usual. We will not have to stall production."

The fifth season of Dexter is set to premiere in September.
