Though closely identified with her Woody Allen films of the 1970s, actress Diane Keaton knows that the secret to looking great and feeling good about yourself is to be yourself! A free-spirited beauty, this Oscar nominee keeps her look current with a makeup routine that takes skin coverage seriously and uses subtle shades. To get Diane's easy, elegant look, take the advice of style consultant Elizabeth King from Chicago's Luxe Salon.
Step 1 Pour a quarter-sized amount of liquid foundation into your palm and, using your fingers, very lightly apply it all over the face, moving in an upward motion toward the hairline. (The heat from your fingers will help the foundation go on in a sheer, even layer.)
Step 2 Using your ring finger, pat on a tiny bit of cream concealer if needed underneath the eyes to blur imperfections.
Step 3 Using a large brush, apply a powdered bronzer across your face and neckline
Step 4 Using a small angled brush, enhance your eyes by lining the upper and lower lashes with a chocolate-brown powder shadow.
Step 5 Softly dust more of the bronzing powder onto the eyelids to warm and define the eyes without making them look overly done.
Step 6 Apply one medium-to-heavy coat of mascara.
Step 7 Line your lips with a coral-colored lip pencil to help define the shape of the lips. Next, using a lip brush, fill in lips with matching creamy lipstick.
