Did DJ AM Commit Suicide?

Did Adam Goldstein accidentally overdose -- or did he make the decision to end his life?

According to a law enforcement source close to the investigation, eight undigested Oxycontin pills were found in the deejay's stomach -- with a ninth found in his mouth.

"He wanted to die," speculates the insider to People.com. "He was going unconscious when he took the last one. He didn't even swallow it."

In addition to the pills, a crack pipe and crack were found in DJ AM's apartment -- along with memories of his recently broken relationship with girlfriend, Haley Wood -- including a Valentine's Day card from 2009 and photos of the couple.

"The card was lying on top of his laptops on the coffee table in the living room," the source said.

The doors to Adam's apartment and bedroom were also reportedly blocked when the cops broke in to find his body last Friday. The source believes, Adam "smoked a lot of crack, barricaded the doors and killed himself.

Others close to AM swear his death was accidental and that he had plans to get to rehab in a few days.

Either way his death remains heartbreaking to those who loved him.
