Dancing with the Stars sent another star packing on Tuesday night's results show. But, this week, it was an elimination not many saw coming.
Jennifer Grey, Bristol Palin and Kurt Warner all failed to impress the judges and wound up in the bottom three. But surprisingly it wasn't any of those celebs who got the axe.
In a shocking twist, The Hills' Audrina Patridge was voted off, even after she and partner Tony Dovolani earned a 24 -- the second highest score of the week.
Still, Patridge handled her elimination with grace.
"I've had so much fun this entire experience," she said. "Tony has been such an amazing teacher." To the judges, she added, "Thank you for all the comments."
Plus, it's not as if Patridge's reality show career is over just because she's off Dancing. The former MTV star is finally getting that new reality show she's been talking about for so long, though this time it will be on VH1. The still untitled project will chronicle Patridge and her family as they get accustomed to her fame and budding acting career. "I am thrilled to be working with VH1," Patridge told The Hollywood Reporter. "I can't wait to begin filming and introduce the world to my amazing family." The show will go into production early next year.
