Former Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz was involved in a nasty fight with his girlfriend, where things allegedly turned violent.
In a report obtained by TMZ.com, Muniz, 25, and Elycia Turnbow got into a heated argument Friday night over "prior relationships." The report, which was filed in Arizona, says that Muniz "grabbed a gun and held it to his head, possibly with the intent of committing suicide." He then went to the hospital for a short time. When he returned home, the couple got into it again. The police report indicates that Muniz "punched" Turnbow and "threw her into a wall."
Upon investigation, authorities found a loaded gun in Muniz's home, which they confiscated. Both parties were charged with disorderly conduct and were given a warning.
But a rep for the actor says reports of the incident were exaggerated and that Muniz had no intention of taking his own life.
"Frankie and Elycia had an argument a few days ago. The police were called to the residence," the rep said. "A gun played no part in the argument and was voluntarily given to the police for safekeeping. There were no bruises and neither left the residence. He was not suicidal. She was not assaulted. They have been together since the incident; are still together and are moving forward with their lives and with their relationship."
