POLL: Did Kate Gosselin's Daughter-in-Heels Photo Cross the Line?

The mom of eight posted a leggy photo of her 11-year-old, which some are criticizing as too provocative

One thing we can say for Kate Gosselin: she knows how to get people talking! On Saturday, the mother of eight tweeted a picture of her 11-year-old daughter Mady trying on her mother's high heels.

"Oh, hafta make u guess who just HAD to try on my heels that I just unpacked from my bag tonight... Starts w an 'M'!" Gosselin wrote.

A kid playing dress-up with her mom's shoes -- what could be more innocent, right? Unfortunately, Kate chose to photograph only Mady's bare legs and feet, making it unclear that the subject of the photo was a little girl. And boy, did it make some people uncomfortable.

"If you're suppose to protect your kids why showcase her legs on to the world, how pathetic," wrote one Twitter follower.

"That photo is a pedophile's dream," remarked another.

"Maddie is 11, a young lady, not a little girl playing, and deserves privacy, not to have her legs in high heels on display," criticized a third. "Horrible mothering instincts, as usual."

In response to the haters, Gosselin's fans made a show of support, even tweeting photos of their own daughters trying on their shoes. As for Kate, she tried to find the humor in the situation.

"Off to run sprints... How abt I tweet a pic of my kids from the knees down in SNEAKERS??!!Would I b bullied for that 2?#seehowsillyuare?" she tweeted on Saturday.

This is the second time in a week that Gosselin has taken heat from the public. On Wednesday, the reality star walked the runway at a charity fashion show held during New York Fashion Week, garnering criticism from the fashion elite. We wonder if Kate is trying to return to the public eye in order to sell that rumored new reality show. Love or hate Kate, it's clear that people still have strong feelings about her -- and that may be all it takes to relaunch her TV career!
