Looks like there is another casualty over at CSI. A source close to the series reveals that Liz Vassey, who plays Wendy, will not be returning to the show this fall because her contract option was not picked up.
"The show is going in a different creative direction in its 11th season," an insider told EW.com's Michael Ausiello.
And it seems that Vassey may not be the only investigator to disappear from the CBS hit show, as many of her costars are currently in contract negotiations with the series.
Could CSI be losing some of our favorite super sleuths over money issues? Right now it's a mystery, but hopefully we'll have the answers soon.
