By now we've all heard the juicy gossip that Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox had some sort of sexual relationship while filming Transformers. But it remained uncertain whether or not Fox was dating now-husband Brian Austin Green at the time.
When asked by Details about Fox's status at the time, LaBeouf, 25, gave a curious response (he repeated the phrase "I don't know" 12 times!), which left us doubting that Fox was single when they hooked up.
But new details have emerged on the affair that has everyone talking -- and it seems that Fox, 25, is in the clear.
"Yes, Megan and Shia hooked up," a set source confirmed to Us Weekly. "It was when Megan and Brian broke up. They had a 10-month break before getting back together."
Fox and Green did have an on-again, off-again relationship for almost six years before they put their issues aside and tied the knot in a secret Hawaiian ceremony in 2010.
"[Shia and Megan] bonded while filming," the source said, confirming that shooting the Michael Bay flick was no picnic. "Believe me, that was an unhappy set. I think they were drawn together because it was so ugly working on that film."
We're guessing this news will make Fox's home life with Green a whole lot easier. But we're still pretty sure they won't be leaving a copy of LaBeouf's Details issue lying around on their coffee table!
