A few months of dating a Kennedy and Taylor Swift is already living like one! The country singer, who has been enjoying a summer romance with Conor Kennedy, has reportedly purchased a Cape Cod home near the Kennedy family estate. The house in question, a seven-bedroom mansion in Hyannisport, Mass., is across the street from Conor's grandmother Ethel Kennedy.
"It's in a beautiful location and right across the street from Conor and the Kennedys," a realtor told People. "It's a beautiful home. She got a nice home, paid fair price. The house was on the market for two to four years."
It may seem a little soon for Taylor, 22, to be buying property with Conor, 18, in mind. But it might have been a deal she couldn't refuse: The property was originally listed for $14 million, and the singer reportedly nabbed it for a mere $4.9 million.
Swift, who usually calls Nashville home, has been spending lots of time in Massachusetts since she began dating Connor, the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy.
"She's awesome. She's a great friend of all of ours," Conor's aunt Rory gushed to the press earlier this month.
In fact, Swift has been spending so much time at the Kennedy compound that the neighbors have started to take notice.
"She was hanging with a Kennedy and across the other side of the street, but I like her. She's got nice music," a Cape Cod resident told NBC News this weekend.
Good thing, because it sounds like New England hasn't seen the last of Taylor.
