For example, if there is one thing that comes up repeatedly as a complaint among women about their male lovers it's their inability to kiss well. Who ever thought that guys could use kissing lessons? Well, in the day of the Kama Sutra, especially as so artfully illustrated in the videotape Kama Sutra: Ancient Secrets of Love (available at my site or from Pacific Media Entertainment at 1-800-262-7367), learning how to kiss could change your life for the better as a lover. In the original text, Vatsayama writes that kissing may be used after sex "for the purpose of rekindling love"
Let the Kama Sutra inspire you as you practice kissing by exploring different ways to connect mouth-to-mouth: Lick the rim of each other's lips; suck each other's tongue; exchange your tongues in each other's mouths as you concentrate on breathing together; and allow a kiss that places the inside of the rim of your lips against your lover's. Focus on the love you feel and explore the sensations that are created when you change kissing intensity and lip and tongue positions.
Another common request I get from women and their partners relates to sexual positions and how to attain maximum pleasure, especially for the woman. Interestingly, many of the teachings in the Kama Sutra include allusions to nature, such as suggestions that lovers should emulate the behaviors of animals. Vatsayama writes that lovers may want to exhibit the characteristics of animals during lovemaking, by acting like a dog, a bull, a tiger and so on. If you and your partner are game, think about what animal you would like to mimic (even in small part) during your lovemaking. You can do this as subtly or as overtly as you choose. Whatever you do, let loose and have fun with this exercise. Try making animal sounds, showing animal behavior and even experimenting with new positions as you keep your chosen animal in mind.
