Disney Cruise Lines' Disney Magic and Disney Wonder

Disney Cruise Line

a Sherri Eisenberg on Feb 25, 2011 at 10:30AM

Launched:  1998 and 1999

Passengers: 2,700

Sails to: Magic: Caribbean in winter; Mediterranean cruises in summer, and transatlantic cruises; Wonder: Bermuda, Pacific Northwest, Alaska, Mexico and Panama Canal

For Kids: Charaters roam the decks of the ship -- your kid may bump into Chip and Dale while they're heading back the stateroom! The kid-friendly shows on theses ship are some of the best we've ever seen -- especially Toy Story the musical featuring amazing anamatronic characters. Even dinner is fun. At the restaurant Animators Palette, the walls start out black and white and then over the course of the meal get "drawn" in and come to life.

For Grown-ups: There are adults-only pools called Quiet Cove and the adults-only Palo restaurants, as well as an adults-only area on the line's private island, Castaway Cay. There, you'll find al fresco massages just for two.

Babysitting: Once you've booked your cruise, you can sign your kids up for activities as well as the group babysitting program. Group babysitting is available for children aged 12 weeks to 3 years old at the ship's Flounder's Reef Nursery.
