What You'll Need:
A cork board (or two that can be glued together) Numbers stencil Paint Fabric Small clothespins (qty 25) Ribbon Paintbrush Scissors Candy, trinkets or other small gifts (qty 25) Push-pins or Pin nails (qty 25)
iVillageSTEP 1. Trace the numbers 1 - 25 across your corkboard with the stencil and then fill them in with paint. Set aside and allow to dry.
iVillageSTEP 2. Paint the clothespins and allow them to dry.
iVillageSTEP 3. Cut 25 pieces of ribbon that measure about 6" long.
iVillageSTEP 4. Cut 25 ovals out of the fabric. The size will depend upon what kinds of treats or trinkets you need to wrap.
iVillageSTEP 5. Plan out the order of your daily gifts.
iVillageSTEP 6. Use the ribbon to tie up each gift.
iVillageSTEP 7. Pin your daily gifts below each calendar date.
iVillageSTEP 8. If you used two cork boards like we did, glue the boards together and hold while the glue sets.
iVillageSTEP 9. Glue ribbon across the top of the corkboard to create a border. You can write a message with paint pens or fabric paint on the ribbon.
iVillageSTEP 10. Hang and enjoy opening a new gift each day in December!
