Forget about boring giftcard envelopes this gift-giving season! Dress up your giftcards with our easy and fun DIY gift card holder project!
What You'll Need:
- Shape stencils - download our dreidel stencil template here
- Felt
- Marker
- Scissors
- Fabric paint
- Ribbon, sequins and other trimmings to decorate with
- Hot glue gun

STEP 1. Download and print our dreidel stencil template. Using a marker, trace two dreidel shapes onto a piece of felt.

STEP 2. Cut out each shape.

STEP 3. Decorate the front of one of the felt pieces. We used fabric paint to give the dreidel definition and dimension, and sequins to add sparkle - you can also use ribbon, beads or other trimmings to make yours unique!

STEP 4. Using the hot glue gun, apply a line of glue around the edges of the undecorated felt piece. Be sure to leave the top open and only apply glue to the bottom half!

STEP 5. Carefully line up the two pieces of felt and press the edges together to set the glue before it cools.

STEP 6. Insert a giftcard and give to someone special! We also made one in the shape of a wrapped present. Other ideas include stars, trees, hearts or snowflakes - get creative!
