Our DIY Mod Podge photograph craft project is quick, easy and the perfect way to turn your favorite photographs into bona fide wall art. It also makes a great last minute (and cheap!) gift for family and friends!
iVillageWhat You'll Need
- Mod Podge
- Foam paint brush
- Stretched Canvas (same size as photograph)
- Color printouts of your fave photos
- Wax paper
iVillageSTEP 1. Print your photograph and cut it out so that it is the same size as your canvas.
iVillageSTEP 2. Using the foam brush, apply a thin, even coat of Mod Podge to your entire canvas.
iVillageSTEP 3. Place the photo front-side down onto a sheet of wax paper and apply a good amount of Mod Podge to the back of your photo.
iVillageSTEP 4. Turn the photo over and carefully line it up and smooth it onto the canvas. Wait about 20 minutes for the Mod Podge to dry completely.
iVillageSTEP 5. Apply an even coat of Modge Podge to the front of the photo. It will look milky white, but remember it dries clear!
iVillageSTEP 6. Allow to dry completely. Place your finished work of art on a table or hang on the wall and enjoy your favorite memories all year round!
