chime in nowTo watch Ana Forrest demonstrate her poses is an awe-inspiring experience. That she is over 50 only adds to the magic. After years of focusing on developing her own yoga method, Forrest Yoga, she is passionate about living life to the fullest. And when it comes to aging, Forrest hopes to inspire others in a positive way: "I have chosen to model a different, much more enticing future for our young people rather than allowing myself to be ignored and devalued because I'm over a certain age," she says. "I feel like I can embody and model the beauty of a rich spirit rather than just a wrinkle-free face."
Her latest personal project is bringing Forrest Yoga to the military and medical communities. "So far I have been to a U.S. Air Force base to work with fighter pilots, security forces and a bomb disposal unit. I've partnered with the Exalted Warrior Foundation to bring yoga to our wounded warriors. And I'm connecting with the medical community by aligning with doctors through Tufts Hospital. The work thrills me and feeds into a future that excites me."
