Ashton Kutcher hasn't lacked for female company since his split from Demi Moore. But is he already getting serious about another woman?
The Two and a Half Men actor, 33, spent this Christmas in Italy with Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist screenwriter Lorene Scafaria, who dated actor Adam Brody until recently.
Kutcher and Scafaria's reps deny a romance, insisting that the two Hollywood insiders are "just friends." So, could it be that their visit to Italy is just a friendly getaway? The day after Christmas, the actor tweeted a picture of himself, Scafaria and Kutcher's business partner Matt Mazzant with the caption "Roman holiday with homies."
Us Weekly reports a different story: According to sources, Kutcher and Scarfaria, who first met when he auditioned for her upcoming film Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (which she wrote and is directing and will star Steve Carell), "started seeing her while each was in a relationship," says the source.
Paparazzi photos show Kutcher and Scafaria sightseeing on their own, without a third wheel in sight and, according to Us Weekly, they drove around Rome in a sports car together, stayed in the same apartment, and were even seen holding hands over a spaghetti lunch (for which reportedly Kutcher paid).
This is not the pair's first trip together. Two weeks ago, they vacationed at Yellowstone Club ski resort in Montana, snowboarding and playing shuffleboard. Not that shuffleboard equals romance.
Demi Moore, meanwhile, spent her holidays with family on the private island Parrot Cay. The Daily Mail reports that Moore, 49, has been getting over Kutcher with the help of daughter Rumer Willis... and three new chihuahua puppies. Who needs a rebound when you've got puppy love?
