A&E's resident tough guy Duane "Dog" Chapman has been sidelined after an on-the-job injury sent the bounty hunter to the emergency room on Saturday.
"He was admitted for tests for a possible blood clot following an injury he suffered on a bounty hunt," Dog's wife Beth Chapman stated on her husband's official website. "Duane is in very capable hands and we thank everyone for their prayers."
Chapman was admitted to UCLA Medical Center, but was "checked and released," a source said. Beth later Twittered that her hubby was indeed on the road to recovery. "Yes dog is injured it is an occupational hazard that we deal with he is very strong and in excellent condition he will 4 sure survive :)"
The Hawaii residents were in California promoting the new season of Dog the Bounty Hunter, which premieres October 6.
