Dolly Parton's Dream Duet Partner: Lady Gaga!

"We'd be fun together!" said The Queen of Country, who's hoping to collaborate with the Mother Monster

Dolly Parton has sung some memorable duets in her career, and she'd like to add one more, with none other than Lady Gaga.

The country legend told E! News last April that she'd love to duet with the "Marry the Night" singer and call herself Lady GooGoo, in tribute to Nashville's famous candy bars. And this week, Parton reiterated her desire to work with Gaga.

"We'd be fun together, don't you think?" Parton told E! News at the premiere of her new movie, Joyful Noise, which comes out this Friday, Jan. 13. "I think people would love that. But you know, you just wait. Those kind of things happen when they're supposed to."

Dolly might be on to something! As Little Monsters know, Lady Gaga can get down like a country girl -- she released a countrified version of "Born This Way," last spring. "I think it's just great," Parton said about the track. "It's just wonderful. I love her."

Fans keeping their fingers crossed for a duet between the two platinum-blond superstars can in the mean time enjoy Parton's collaboration with her Joyful Noise costar Queen Latifah.

"I told Queen Latifah she should be on the Grand Ole Opry," Parton said. "She could sing 'Fix Me Jesus.' They would love that."
