Soon after, both brothers set off on impressive acting careers. In 1996, Donnie appeared opposite Mel Gibson in Ransom, but it was his spine-chilling turn as Bruce Willis' troubled patient in The Sixth Sense that showed the world he had some serious acting chops. The elder Wahlberg went on to grab roles in the Emmy-winning miniseries Band of Brothers, the NBC drama Boomtown, the movie version of Stephen King's Dreamcatcher and three of the four gory Saw flicks. Next up for Donnie? The big time—he'll star opposite acting greats Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro in Righteous Kill, due out in September. On the home front, Donnie divorced wife Kim Fey in 2007 and is a dad to two sons, Xavier, 15 (the same age as Donnie when he joined New Kids), and Elijah, 6.
