Sadly, we've seen too many real-life women in recent memory stand humiliated besides an unfaithful husband looking like a deer caught in the headlights. Julianna Margulies (ER) in her much-anticipated return to network TV joins that group as Alicia Florrick in The Good Wife. After 13 years of raising kids and supporting her husband's career, she heads back to work in a cutthroat high-profile law firm as a midlife rookie when her politician husband, played by Chris Noth (Sex and the City), goes to jail. She needs to prove herself quickly in order to keep her job and as she does she realizes that she finally has stepped out of the shadows and into her own light. The show also stars Christine Baranski (Mamma Mia) as a senior partner in the law firm; Josh Charles as her law school buddy who gives her the chance to remake her life.
