Dress Your Baby

It isn't easy to dress a baby so try to make sure your baby is calm before you begin. A good time for changing is typically after a feeding. Take your time, be patient, and use a changing table or other flat surface so your baby is comfortable.

Our son used to hate putting on pajamas until we turned the process into a game. We would make dressing into a theatrical event by singing to him and pretending he was getting ready for a car race or putting on magic clothes. Dressing with him worked well, too.

Have fun with the "Mommy and me, Daddy and he" concept. Your son and his dad can put on the same white sneakers, blue jeans, and a white T-shirt on a Sunday or your little girl can wear a similar outfit to Mom's.

Never has there been so much choice for babies and kids. If you try to have some fun with your child's clothes, then she or he will as well.
