The brilliant stunt-casting of Drew Barrymore as Ghostface's first onscreen fatality (the character's name is Casey, as we're sure only the most diehard fans recall) set the Scream series in motion. Donning a blonde wig, she plays the flirtatious pawn in a prank call turned homicide. At the time, Barrymore’s film career was on an upswing, and moviegoers assumed she was the film's star, making her untimely demise all the more shocking. In addition to intriguing us with her free-spirited love life -- from ex-husband Tom Green to former costar Justin Long to current husband Will Kopelman -- she's captivated us with her on-screen dating habits, too, in hit rom-coms such as 50 First Dates and He’s Just Not That Into You. In 2009, Barrymore made her production and directorial debut with Whip It and in 2010, starred in the movie Going The Distance. Moreover, the star is now a proud mother to her daughter, Olive.
